Cautious Optimism - The Tottenham Hotspur 2022/23 Preview

It almost feels like yesterday when the season ended back in May and Spurs secured a top-4 finish pipping our rivals to the finish line. It was a joyous occasion then, especially since we accomplished getting a Champions League spot for the next season which our rivals despite their spirited attempt could not. What made it even more special was that back in January, almost all the big media pundits had counted Spurs out of the race. The media was either pushing for Arteta in Arsenal to prove his caliber or simply had their fingers crossed for Manchester United to somehow bring back their bygone era. In the week after the season ended, Spurs made their first signing in Ivan  Perišić . As soon as Spurs made that signing, it was apparent that this window was going to be unlike any other. Yellowstone - A Haven for Wildlife

Thinking back to 300,000 years ago, when wildlife used to roam the vast lands free. There used to exist a natural chain of co-existence where the animals at the top of the food chain would hunt the animals at the lower rungs of the chain. Animals at the lowest rung would be worried about only couple of things - getting enough food to sustain through the tough winters and stay away from the pursuit of their predators. Since homo sapiens or humans in more simpler words started evolving and started taking their place in the food chain, a new kind of dynamic would come into place. Animals would start getting domesticated, insects would not only worry about predators but now also had to count for humans eating them (not that they have the kind of brain that would enable them to distinguish between any other predators).
