November, 2019 was when I decided to travel back home to India. However, I wanted to take a risk as well by doing something I have never done before. After experiencing one day of solo travel in NYC (post coming in a few days), I really wanted to travel solo to another country and out of my comfort zone. Choosing Singapore was one of the safe cards I played, because during my research I found that it is one of the safest places to visit alone.
Every morning on this trip, I had one mission. It was to find the best breakfast in Singapore. The second day on my trip, even though this place was out of my way, I decided to take the 30 minute bus ride to this Prata House. Singapore buses are very comfortable and are cool to provide you a break from the heat. The buses are cheap and are much recommended over the Grab taxis.
The prata at this place was definitely the best prata I have had outside of India. You do have to wait for 20 minutes on a weekday (this might be more on a weekend) for the prata as these are made to order. The prata is served with a choice of delicious lamb sauce or a vegetarian sauce. The prata itself is crispy, cheesy and has enough carbs to satisfy your tummy till the next meal. Also, next to the stall is a coffee stall where you should get some coffee while you wait for your meal.
